YSU Holds Opening Ceremony of International Exchange and Cross-cultural Communication Program

On the morning of November 18, the opening ceremony of "International Exchange and Cross-cultural Communication" Program jointly sponsored by YSU and the University ofAdelaide was held through Tencent Meeting platform. Lu Jun, Director of the Office of International Cooperation, relevant staff and all trainees attended the opening ceremony.

Lu Jun on behalf of YSU congratulated the successful opening and thanked all the trainees for their active participation. He said that this training is committed to promoting the "International Promotion of Service Management Ability" and improving the international literacy of the administrative team, and he expressed a hope that the trainees will improve the international management ability through training, succeed in the study and apply what they have learned, and provide strong organizational guarantee and talent support for the connotative and high-quality international development.

This training is attended by foreign affairs secretaries, administrative staff, counselors and faculty members interested in cross-cultural communication. The training lasts for 16 weeks and is conducted in small class, group learning and self-management. It is intended to help students improve their comprehensive application of English in terms of business and professional communication skills and cross-cultural communication skills, and strengthen their in-depth understanding of the core concepts of international exchange and cross-cultural communication.

In the context of education globalization, the expansion of international management vision and the improvement of international exchange and cooperation play an important role in promoting the high-quality development of international university-running level. YSU attaches great importance to this and sets up special funds to carry out the training of international exchange and cross-cultural communication for faculty and staff.
