On September 1, China Academy of Science & Education Evaluation (CASEE, from Hangzhou Dianzi University), Zhejiang Association of Higher Education (ZAHE), Research Center for “Province with Powerful Higher Education” Development Strategy and Evaluation, and Research Center for Chinese Science Evaluation (RCCSE), in collaboration with the Network of Science & Education Evaluation in China (www.nseac.com), released the 17th World-Class Universities and Disciplines Evaluation Report. 284 Chinese universities are included in the ranking, 40 more than last year. Yanshan University ranks 60th among Chinese universities and 562nd in the world.
The World-Class Universities and Disciplines Evaluation Report 2022 covers 150 rankings under 7 categories upon comprehensive, systematic and in-depth evaluation and analysis of 1,826 universities with two or more disciplines included in the Essential Science Indicators (ESI). The evaluation report also contains suggestions on accelerating the construction of world-class universities and disciplines from the aspects of state, university and discipline construction.
