Yanshan University and Moscow Polytechnic University Hold Opening Ceremony of Sino-Russian High-level International Online Course Program

Recently, Geely Yanxiang Fleet of Yanshan University (YSU) and Moscow Polytechnic University (MPU) held the opening ceremony of the Sino-Russian high-level international online course program Basic Racing Engineering at the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base of the School of Vehicle and Energy. Pablo Iturralde, Director of the Engineering Development Center and Dean of the Transport Faculty of MPU, Tang Xianzhi, director of the Department of Vehicle Engineering of the School of Vehicle and Energy of YSU, and Jia Tuo and Wang Zhong, instructors of the Geely Yanxiang Fleet, as well as students from Geely Yanxiang Fleet participated in the opening ceremony.


First of all, Mr. Tang Xianzhi gave a brief introduction to YSU, focusing on the teaching profile and research direction of the School of Vehicle and Energy and the composition and previous years' achievements of the Geely Yanxiang Fleet, and sincerely welcomed the visit of MPU to YSU. At the same time, he had great expectations for the YSU students participating in the courses, and hoped that they can broaden their horizons and achieve success in their studies.


Afterwards, Professor Pablo Iturralde of MPU enthusiastically introduced the foreign teachers who participated in this course, explained the teaching arrangement of this course of Basic Racing Engineering, and wished every one of both parties can learn from each other and gain something in the following courses.

Finally, the team leaders of the Geely Yanxiang Fleet introduced the division of labor among the fleet members. They all expressed their hope to learn more about racing expertise through the exchange course, understand the Russian car culture and the excellent concepts of the MPUs Formula Fleet, promote each other and make progress together. In the subsequent question session, everyone enthusiastically asked questions, and the professors also answered them one by one.

The purpose of this course is to promote mutual understanding between the two parties, exchange racing knowledge, learn foreign racing culture, strengthen the construction of YSUs Student Formula Fleet, and further promote the internationalization of teachers and students. Through this exchange, YSU and MPU deepen their understanding and friendship, laying a foundation for further friendly cooperation.
